Cyto-Cal Multifluor Fluorescence Intensity Calibrator
The Cyto-Cal Multifluor Fluorescence Intensity Calibrators are designed to simultaneously monitor flow cytometer stability, give relative fluorescence estimations of labelled cells and provide a check on instrument sensitivity and performance.

The Cyto-Cal Multifluor Fluorescence Intensity Calibrators consist of mixture of uniform 3 μm microspheres with multiple dyes in six different fluorescent intensitie levels. Excitation is at a wide range of wavelengths: UV, 405, 488, 520 and 640 nm. Therefore they are ideally suited for calibration of the multiple FL channels of the flow cytometer. Each intensity level has an approximate MEFL (mean equivalent fluorochrome) value for estimation of relative fluorescence intensities of labelled cells. Because of the high uniformity of the microspheres, singlet gating in the scatter plot is not required.
They are packaged is a 2 ml vial. The beads are suspended in a specially formulated suspension medium ensuring long-term stability and preventing the formation of doublets and triplets.
